About Us                                                     Benefits of Membership

Interested in making wine, but don’t want to be completely on your own when you do?

Introducing:

THE LANGLEY FERMENTERS AMATEUR WINE MAKERS CLUB
Langley, British Columbia, Canada

Don’t let that “LANGLEY” part of the name fool you: we have members all the way from Vancouver to Richmond to Chilliwack, British Columbia and Washington State.

Take your winemaking to the next level, with friendly help every step of the way. Our members make medal-winning wines from grapes, fruits and kits. Get help from some of the best.

We meet each month from September to June, usually on the first Monday of the month, in the home of one of our members, usually from 7:30-9:30pm. In a typical meeting, we:
• plan our involvement in various social events
• have roundtable discussions about winemaking issues we’re facing, including learning how to identify and solve potential problems when making wine
• learn something special about wine styles, blending, food pairing, etc.
We occasionally hold meetings at a local winery, with the opportunity to speak to commercial wine makers.

We are part of the British Columbia Amateur Winemakers Association which is an umbrella organization for eleven wine making clubs in British Columbia.
